Buoy with beacon light. It is a round tube, with a screw on top that has a pointed yellow glass light at end. Inside there is wiring to connect the light to a battery. Printed on the side of the bouy: "USNS Gen. N.M. Wlaker." It has a yellow nylon cord attached to a clamp with a ring. Used in the US Navy Ship General Nelson M. Walker. The last transports done by the ship before it was taken out of service was to bring troops from Vietnam in 1967. This is a collection of artifacts found on the ship after it was taken out of service.
