Label on back contains name "Valparaiso", name of artist and artist's address





Woven textile with various types of wool, brown in color. Weave is loose with wool threads left loose throughout. Boarder is a darker wool, body of textile is various shades of wool. Textile is backed with a heavy, starched linen, which has been folded to make a pole sleeve. The lining is stitched across the top and tacked at edges. The selvedges are secured by webbing.
