This black and white photograph is a full length portrait of Dorothy Liebes and some of her textiles. Liebes is standing in the center of the photograph with spools of yarns (many glittery lurex yarns for which she was known) and winding racks. Behind her are hung draperies of her design. To the far proper right (Liebes' right) is a blind - using bamboo rods, another weaving innovation for which Liebes is known. The blind is hung vertically.
