Per S.B. - Silver hair ornament, upper part is wire rectang;e of flat, 1/8" silver combined with four other pieces of the same size. Red and black beads threaded in a fine wire worked through the open grid.The piece is an example of the wide variety of media that Savin explored as well as the type of modernist jewlry that was popular in the Bay Area during the 1950s to 1970s.
