This black and white snap shot was probably made at a gathering of friends and/or staff of Dorothy Liebes' design firm in San Francisco. Liebes is seated on the proper right side of the image, facing the camera, with her right arm dangling over the back of the chair. Other women are standing and seated in a "U" shape in a narrow garden setting. (Some are seated on a swing.)
There is a probability that this image was made at either Liebes' studio or home in San Francisco.
