Verso: "1.00" - written in red crayon, TL; "14" encircled - written in black crayon, CL
Ridged ceramic tile formed from terra cotta colored clay. The tile's composition includes a Viking style ship with a large sail, half a dozen long oars, and circular shields hanging from the gunwales. The crevices of the design are darkened with blue-gray glaze.
