Bread and butter plate from Union Pacific "Streamliner" train, 1936-1971, "City of San Francisco," "City of Los Angeles," etc. Depicts a winged streamliner in brown and green, with a band of gold near the rim. Trains were operated from Chicago to the West Coast and Denver by Chicago & Northwestern, Union Pacific, and Southern Pacific railroads. Classic Art Moderne design. Made by Sterling of East Liverpool, Ohio. 6.5" diameter. PCK
