The caption on the back reads: "Built in 1867, this home still stands on Fremont Ave, half way between Niles and Centerville. It was the home of Howard Overacker, the man who gave an acre and sold an acre of land for the construction of the new school in 1892. In front of the residence are : Mrs. Emma Bunting, Mrs. Deborah Overacker, Howard Overacker (seated in doorway), Louise Overacker, Howard Overacker Jr., Mrs. Emma Burke and Bessie Overacker." The Overackers were Centerville pioneers.
