One of two negatives found in the same original envelope. The original envelope reads, "13th St.-- looking west from Broadway-- looking south from Easton Building" 2005.352.58 is specifically identified as Broadway looking south from Easton Building, Franklin St. at left, old Galindo Hotel (once home of the Tribune) in the distance 1903"

This negative is a photograph of Oakland in 1903, but is a part of a larger collection of photographs of the 1906 earthquake and fire taken by Ernest Michael Blaess, and was originally donated in a box identified as images of Oakland and San Francisco after the disaster.
