On clamp: "Made 1416 1 1/2" U.S.A." "Adjustable"

A: Toy sewing machine, with a wooden knob to crank the wheel. Gears in place. B: Metal C clamp that was used to hold the sewing machine to the surface of a table, for use.

Norma Stanberry, then Norma Prenzen, used this toy sewing machine as a child. She felt that she was probably between 8-10 years old when she received it. It went through the Fire Storm in the Oakland Berkely Hills in October, 1991. Friends found it in the ashes of her home and gave it to her. It is unclear about the wooden handle; however, since the machine was so badly burned, she believes someone replaced the wooden knob handle on the machine.
