Fanciful tape measure made in the shape of a basket of fruit (green grapes draped over either end of the basket, purple grapes draped over either side of the basket, with plum, cherries, apple, pear, etc. piled high in the basket). The tape measure pull is a small dark red and black "lady bug." The cloth tape measure is marked in inces on one side and in the metric system on the other.

Tape measures of this type are highly prized and collected. A tape measure like this one could have been used, but more likely it was used as a charming decoration at a ladie's sewing table.
