This is a pair of Stronghold bib overalls, of blue cotton denim is without shoulder straps. Rings, to receive the shoulder straps, are still stitched to the front of the bib. Fly front fastens with four metal buttons, which match the two metal buttons at either side of the waist. Two pockets in the back, three pockets in the front of the trousers (watch pocket is set inside one of the pockets) and a sixth pocket is in the bib, and is accessed from the proper right side. All of the pockets and seams are top stitched. A large printed label "The Stronghold...etc." is stitched at the back proper right waistband. Inside the left rear pocket is another label for "United Garment Worker of America." "Issued by authority of United Garment Workers of America, General Executive Board, Org. April 12th 1891, registered 942...DUCK GOODS"
