Cloth doll, brown with an embroidered face, and hair of black thread. Skirt and top are of red, black yellow and green striped fabric with red, yellow, black and white checkered fabric appliqued in strips. Doll has no shoes, just the shape of a foot. There is no hand shape at the end of the arms. Doll has a bamboo basket on the back at the proper right side; the basket is edge with brown.

This doll was given to Mary Ann Quittman, the donor, when she was a child. It was purchase in the Philippines by an aunt, Mary P. Brusher, who visited the Philippines and China, c. 1937-38, in a 6 month trip.
