"White & Pollard, Bank of Commerce Building, Oakland, California" is stamped on the cover. Paper tag pasted on the front reads "1." Inside front cover, written in pencil is: "LM Wood Ranch"

It is interesting to note that on this map Yerba Buena Island is called "Goat Is," "Clayton" is written on to the top of the map in pencil, the Dumbarton Bridge is marked as a toll bridge, the San Mateo-Mt.Eden Bridge is also marked as a toll bridge, and the ferry routes to and from San Francisco, Richmond, Berkeley, Alameda and various spots in Oakland are dotted lines. The maps has been used and there are some red marks in Hayward and Livermore. Also, pencil figures near San Leandro.
