Many ranchos are listed on the map, for example: Rancho Los Guilicos, Rancho Napa, Rancho La Jolta, Guenoc Rancho, Rancho Catacoula, Yajome Rancho, Petaluma Rancho, Blucher Rancho, Rancho Llano de Santa Rosa, Joniva Rancho, etc. Written on the outside fold of the map, in pencil: "Richmond, S. Rafael, Novato, Petaluma, Penngrove, Cotati, Sebastapol, Bodega."
