This long, tan cotton dress, with 3/4 length sleeves, is trimmed with sueded leather fringe down the sleeves and at the hem. Side seams are slit up approximately 8-9 inches. The hem fringe is also decorated with wooden beades, natural colored beads are lozenge shaped, orange beads are cylindrical. The garment fastened at the front with strips of leather run through eyelets; there are two sets of brown metal eyelets present (no strips of leather) and one set (the bottom most set) of embroidered eyelets with a strip of leather tied in it. This Camp Fire Girl uniform was worn by Margaret Preston (a teacher in her adult years) when she was about twevle years old, growing up in Sacramentio County.
