Handwritten signature " Andre Ward, 2 God be the 'Glory,' Romans 10:9-16"





These are a pair of training boxing gloves used by Andre Ward to train for the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Greece. He won the gold medal in the light heavyweight division, the only boxer from his olympic class to win gold. Inscribed with his handwritten signature: " Andre Ward, 2 God be the 'Glory,' Romans 10:9-16." The gloves are size 10, made in Mexico by Grant Boxing. The Grant logo in black is in the center of the glove. There is gold coin painted on the cuff, with Athena and the words in Greek for Athen and Olympic, 2004 and an alpha and an omega. Right glove is a, left glove is b.
