Oil painting on canvas of a sailing ship. The ship fills the majority of the canvas and is seen from the side with prow on the left side of the composition. The ship appears with open sails and rigging. Anchors hang on the side of the hull, and Dutch and English flags fly at the top of the masts. A band of teal water is visible above a light blue band on the lower side of the canvas.
