From caption on back of photograph: "The annual 'Field Day' at College of the Holy Names brought out the old and new in sportswear. Left to right are Dorene Franzen, in modern wear; Benny Fahey, in the bathing suit (vintage 1899), and Nancy Walsh, in 'Whistle-bait' garb." Three women are photographed walking along the terrace of a building. The woman on the proper right wears a casual, everyday dress with tennis shoes while the other two wear different types of sportswear. The center woman wears a vintage bathing suit that almost completely covers her body, complete with stockings and tennis shoes. The woman on the proper left wears a much shorter sports robe, but her legs are still covered up by stockings.
