From caption on back of photograph: "Workmen load outsized piece of equipment aboard world plane. Air cargo activity, particularly to the Mideast is boon for Oakland-based airlines." A large aircraft at Oakland Airport is being loaded with cargo. The airplane's nose has lifted outward, allowing the cargo to be loaded directly onto the plane. Several mobile cranes are assisting in the operation. All the men scattered around the scene wear hard hats. The logo on the side of the airplane says "World".
