Gift of Mr. John Toki

Stoneware teapot (A), lid (B) and cup (C) with lustre glaze. Pot has an organic motif with three spiral legs, a twisted handle and serpent-like shapes (six on each side) decorated with orange dots extending out from the sides. Interior of pot has a gold metalic finish as do all surfaces of the lid which is formed at top by rock-like shapes stacked on top of one another. The small cup matches the pot in that it has the serpent-like shapes extending out from the sides with some on the bottom acting as legs; interior of cup also has the gold metalic finish.
