This large blanket is a wool tapestry weave, featuring horizontal white bands. There is a stair-stepped red form in the center, and a red band at either end. The blanket is decorated with black in forms that could resemble the letters "G" and "S" and horizontal lozenge shapes. There is fringe at either end; at one end the fringe is rather short and uniform, at the other end it is straggling, with some elements quite long (more than twice the length of the other fringe). The edges are whip stitched.
