Raku fired ceramic sculpture consists of a large round vessel with ceramic pieces arranged around the top. The vessel has a pale yellow crackled surface with small black cylindrical rods emerging from the sides at intervals. Some of the rods have a white band at the end. Above each rod, a teal colored area appears on the vessel. A triangular stack of small black ceramic rods rests on top of the vessel and is surrounded by a black circular form with flat vertical sides at the base, and another with flat horizontal sides near the top. A thin brown and black slab with rounded wavy edges balances vertically around the pile of rods and is supported by the upper black circular form. A small lump of white clay appears on the side of the brown and black slab. Perpendicular to the brown and black slab, a thin white curved slab is attached at the top of the pile of rods. Several long tan rods, some with white bands, extend from the round vessel below and are tied with string to the ceramic pieces on top.
