Knitted jacket without buttons, called a cacoon. The body is knitted in heavy gage yarn of purple with specks of green and red. The sleeves are a lighter colored purple mohair with flecks of metallic silver yarn. The neck, front, hem and cuffs are all finished with crocheted decorative loops of yarn of those used to construct the garment. The sleeves have a slight puff at the shoulder. The shoulders are quite narrow in construction and resemble the pattern of a 19th century dolman. (The yarn in this garment was commercially dyed.)

Camillian was a Berkeley based company. Janet Lipkin, Lori Hansen, Amy Rothberg artis/designers and Toshiko Sugiyama as pattern maker. Articles were made in limited production (100/200 pieces) hand knit by local women.
