Rectangular sheet color drypoint etching and aquatint on paper with deckled bottom edge. The composition includes a portrait of a male figure shown in profile with head and shoulders visible against a gray background. He wears a white T-shirt with black lettering on the front, multiple earrings, and a long beaded necklace with a circular pendant. His hair is black with white highlights and is braided down his back. Small black circles in groups of three and circles within a triangle are tattooed by his ear, and a large tattoo of a blue spider with a scull for a head extends from around his ear down his neck.

The plates, in order of printing, were inked in a mixture of China clay, titanium oxide white, prussian blue, ultramarine blue, Graphic Chemical 514 black, mars black, cadmium red medium, Lefranc & Bourgeois orient blue, magenta (13.5:1.25:1:1:.85:.13:.13:.06:.02) for plate 3: China clay, burnt umber, vermilion red light (7:1:.1) for plate 2; and Graphic Chemical 514 black, China clay, magenta (14:7:1.25) for plate 1. Each impression is hand-signed, titled, and numbered in pencil by the artist, and bears the embossed chop mark of made in California in the lower right corner, with paper watermark, when present, located in the lower left margin. Extant impressions printed outside the edition total thirty-one and include eighteen state and duplicate state impressions for state 1 and states 3-10, three state 2 impressions, one bon a tirer (state 11), one each printers-, press-, and publisher's- proof impression, five artist's- and one archival proof impression.. All impressions not detailed above have been destroyed, and a 1/8" kerf no less than 3" in length is removed from the plates on the cancellation date noted above.
