An oil painting on canvas depicts a landscape featuring Santa Clara Adobe. A long building appears across the center of the canvas with a peaked red tile roof. A path leads from the front door through a wooden fence to an unpaved lane just visible at the bottom of the canvas. The right side of the building is covered by large green shrubbery, and tall deciduous trees are painted at right and left with reddish-brown leaves. A pale blue sky is visible above the roofline of the building.
