Deep red velvet sombrero with metallic silver braid trim in an angualar design on the top and bottom of the brim, as well as the bottom edge of the crown. A small braid hat band in matching metallic silver goes around the bottom of the crown. A pattern of the braid laces over the edge of the brim. Lined in green. Chin cord is of red cotton.

This collection of Charro, Charra and China Poblana items was made by Tinidad Jose Sanchez. The Charro pieces were probably worn by him in various parades and events in Sacramento and the Central Valley.
