Democratic National Convention 1984, San Francisco, Convention Survival Kit...

A: This white plastic box (with a self hinged lid) was given to the deligates to the 1984 political convention for the Democrats held in San Francisco. The label on the top reads: "Democratic National Convention 1984, San Fracisco, Convention Survival Kit, Compliments of Zee Medical Products Co., a unit of McKesson Corp." There are five stars printed at the top of the label, along with a blue stripe and a red stripe. The kit contained: 1 pack of "Un-aspirin" which was removed, 1 pack of "pain aid" which was removed, and the following items, still present: B: 1 wet nap, C: 1 package of finger tip bandages, D: 1 elastic strip bandage, E: 1 pack "Zee antacid," F: 1 package "Zee antibiotic ointment," G: 1 pack "DermaFleur (moisturizing hand and body lotion)," and H: 1 package "Congest Aid" (a decongestant).

Henry T. Berger, the donor's brother, was a deligate to the convention, from New York. The kit had been given to him. He gave the kit to his sister; she was also able to attend the sessions of the convention.
