Mantel clock. Two straight pillars in the back, two curved pillars in the front, each surmounted with a pineapple like finnal. Top fo the clock has an urn shaped decoration with garlands festooned through handles. Front of the clock has a female head wearing earrings and a drapery with a crescent moon at the top of her head. The front panel is painted with roman numerals for the face of the clock separated by garlands of pink roses. In the middle of the face, just above the hands, are two cherubs on a cloud. Below the face is a seated woman wearing a white dress with a blue robe and pink swag, a naked child leans against her, there are two white doves at the child's feet. A dreamy landscape featuring trees and water are behind these two figures. Similar landscapes are painted on either side of the clock.
