This pleated plaid wool skirt has deep one and a quarter inch pleats going all around the one inch wide waistband. The plaid is green, black and whute. The skirt fastens at the proper left with a silver colored metal zipper at two black buttons (one on the outside of the waistband, the other on the inside). The very narrow hem has been turned and machine stitched.

This skirt was worn by Peggy Takahashi (nee Peggy Chinn) when she was in high school; it was also worn by her sister Bette Chinn Dare (nee Bette Chinn).
