A: Dress with "I. Magnin & Co." and "Westbury fashions" labels at the inside of the neck of the dress. The dress has a shirt front (buttons with four-4 navy blue buttons)--the bodice, outer collar and the sleeve cuffs are made of knitted fabric with a cream colored background, a printed plaid in red, blue gray and wine color. The long sleeves of the dress, the under collar, and the pleated skirt are made of a harmonizing printed plaid in a smaller scale, of red, wine color, blue gray, navy blue and tan. B: Sweater--sleeveless, scoop neck navy blue knitted sweater with "poor boy" styled vertical ribbing. C: Belt of navy blue suede, with a small, rectangular buckle of silver colored metal. The sweater was worn over the dress. Belt loops on the sweater hold the belt in place.

Mrs. Takahashi remembered wearing this outfit at the same time that she was employed as a laboratory medical technologist in Contra Costa County.
