Ceramic dinner plate with lavendar glaze. The overall shape is square with rounded corners.

Plates were commissioned when the artist was in residence at Menlo Park, and they were inspired by the imagery of cave paintings in Lascaux, France. The paintings were discovered a few years prior to the date of commission.
