Vote Obama (on the back of each card in the deck)

Single playing card from the "Obama Presidential Playing Cards" deck. Image in the back of each card in the deck is of Senator Obama on a blue field. Image in the center of the face of each card is framed in a black outlined rectangle. RR: Is the five of Clubs and features "Colin Powell, Former Secretary of State." Powell is shown in a military uniform holding a sign "Vote Obama" with a poster on his left side reading: "Strengthen The Military."

There is a complete set of playing card (52) along with two Jokers. Colin Powell, statesman and retired United States Army General served as the 65th Secretary of State (2001-2005) under President George W. Bush. He was the first African American appointed to that position. He was National Security Advisor 1987-89, and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff 1989-1993. (To date he is the only frican American to serve on the Joint Chiefs of Staff.) He has been described as a moderate Rebublican. On October 19, 2008, on NBC's "Meet The Press", Powell announced his endorsement of Barack Obama. He pointed to Obama's "ability to inspire" and the "inclusive nature of his campaign." Powell also questioned Senator John McCain's judgment in selecting Sarah Palin as his Vice Presidential running mate.
