The invitation is printed, in gray, on cream colored card stock. There's a 3/4 of an inch border of small embossed dots with a creamy glaze, then two embossed bars making another border, also covered in the creamy glaze. Finally in the center is the invitation done in gray: "Mr. and Mrs. James Arthur Takahashi request the pleasure of your company at the marriage of their daughter Allison Christine to Mr. Michael Newby Bernhardt Saturday, the eighth of October, Two Thousand and five at half after ten o'clock, Wente Vineyards, Livermore, California. Reception following the ceremony."
