This aquan colored menu has two smaller menus clipped to it on the inside. The large, outer menu reads: "Central Sea Food, Incorporated--Ltd." It is decorated with an illustration on the front cover, behind the restaurant name, by a fisherman in a boat catching a fish. "Menu, 445 Fourteenth Street, Phone Holliday 7063, Oakland, Calif." In a circle is another illustration of a fish. "We wish to call your attention to the fact that our experience of handling Sea Food since 1897, enables us to select the Best Sea Food The Market Can Afford and served to You Strictly Fresh Daily by Experienced Modern Chefs." Inside the menu features: "Cocktails, Soups, Relishes, Salads, Louie Dishes, Fish,Oysters--Eastern--California or Olympia, Steaks and Chops, Ehhs and Omelettes, Sanwiches, Cold Dishes, Breakfast Dishes, Fresh Deep Sea Crabs, Lobsters (In Season), Monterey Abalone, Scallops. Fresh Shrimps, Coo Coo Clams, Vegetables, Potatoes, Desserts, Drinks and Beverages..." The back of the menu reads: "Freshrainbow trout to take home, also all kinds of shell fish to take home: Fresh crabs, lobsters, shrimps, oysters, abalones, clams and scallops. We especially call your attention to our famous clam chowder. Special clam chowder, Clam broth and chicken broth to take home, pints 20c, quarts 35c. Oyster loaves to take home, 50c, 75c, $1.00 and up. Chicken loaf 75c and up. Scallop loaf 75c and up. Central Sea Food." Inside the larger menu is a small white menu, printed in black and clipped to the back of the larger menu. "Central Sea Food, Today's best catch, Monday, March 21, 1938, 45c Lunch 45c" with the food listed below--including sea bass, swordfish, abalone, turbot, halibut, salmon, Irish lamb stew, pork chops, and much more. On the opposite page is the 75c Dinner 75c, which includes relishes, a cocktail (crab, shrimp or oyster) soup and salad, entree, vegetables, dessert and a drink ("choice of Coffee, Tea, Milk, Glass of Wine or Beer." Clipped to the dinner side of the white menu is a small blue card "Special Today 15c, with meals, your choice of a glass: Beaulieu Vineyard Burgundy, Beaulieu Vineyard Dry Sauterne."
