Adult (likely male) on blanket on lawn at San Francisco Civic Center Plaza underneath a canvas sign tied between two trees, which reads, "Imagine Peace Now." The person is facing away from the viewer, wearing construction worker garb (hard hat, white t-shirt, blue jeans, work boots. On the blanket are a number of objects, including a long walking staff and a number of small ceramic dishes. In the background are buildings and trees from the Civic Center, as well as people sitting on benches and strolling. Below the image is the handwritten notation, in black felt pen, "Artists encampment near AID's tent @ Civic Center Plaza - photo by [illegible; resembles, 'Sardr Fwcett']." Below that, in blue felt pen and circled, is the word, "PEACE."
