Larry Taylor, an African-American man. Mr. Taylor is wearing a trimmed beard and a leather jacket, open at the collar, revealing a printed t-shirt. On the (proper) left chest of his jacket is a "Hello, My Name Is" sticker (but the frame cuts off where he would have his name). On verso is the photographer's stamp, "Matthew J. Lee," and the date stamp, "Feb 9 1991." Under that is the handwritten text, in blue ballpoint pen, "Oakland Crack Task Force - Larry Taylor during the Extinct Workshop."

With a cursory Google search (05/15/2009) no information could be found about the "Oakland Crack Task Force" or the "Extinct Workshop."
