An image of two African-American boys in a living room, on a sofa and side chair, playing arm wrestling. The boy in the center of the frame, Trey Hackney, 12, is looking directly at the viewer; he is wearing a Bell bicycle helmet, and on his (proper) left hand there is a plastic hospital I.D. bracelet; he is dressed in white, with a t-shirt and pants. His brother, Ian, 11, is on the left side of the frame and has his back to the viewer; he is not wearing a helmet but, rather, has close-cropped hair. Behind the boys is a staircase, and on each step is a trophy (unidentified, but one appears to have a basketball player figurine). Trey, looking at the viewer, is presenting a mock "tough" grimace. On verso is the photographer's stamp, "Gary Reyes," and the date stamp, "Sept 09, 1992." Also on verso is the description, handwritten in black ball point pen, "Trey Hackney age 12 like to arm wrestle with brother Ian Hackney age 11. He wears a bicycle helmet to protect his head from further trauma.
