From the caption that ran with the image: "These players are two reasons why the Oakland Eagles lead the pennant race in the Eastbay Winter League. Both ballplayers saw service with the Oaks but were released because they lacked experience. They returned to the bushers in hopes of earning new chances in faster company. Their work for the Eagles, who meet the Oakland Natives at the Coast League park this afternoon, has earned them their wish. The San Francisco Seals are counting on Caesar Sinibaldi (left) to fill a gap in their catching department, and the Oaks are expecting Harlan Pool (right) to drive in a lot of runs as well as cover one of the outer gardens." Image depicts Sinibaldi in a typical catcher stance, knees bent and hands up, one gloved. From the Oakland Tribune Collection
