"Norwegian symbolist artist, Edvard Munch, was not only his country's greatest painter but also a highly skilled printmaker. I was extremely intrigued by his life, which was a reflection of death. His enigmatic figure in the painting 'Scream (Cry)' provoked me to create a new version of his painting into print." / Yuji Hiratsuka
