This is a five color lithograph after Eugﾏne Boudin's work, "Femme _ L'Ombrelle sur la Plaza de Berck" (1875-1880). The print shows an abstract landscape executed with thick gestural marks against a background of tan ground and blue sky. A figure reclines in the foreground under a red umbrella.

I chose Boudin simply because I enjoy looking at his paintings. I have searched for some deeper meaning or reason but I have not been able to come up with anything other than the simple pleasure of viewing his work. / James Reed
