Jay was an Ione soldier who paid the ultimate sacrifice on April 28, 2007 while serving his country in Baghdad, Iraq.
A bill was recently passed to name the Amador Creek Bridge on the new bypass in honor of Jay. Through the family is grateful for the honor bestowed on them they must raise the funds to purchase the sign. Donations would be appreciated. Please send donations to the American Legion at P.O. Box 964 Sutter Creek, Ca 95685.
