Autobiography of Rex May, handwritten on long rectangular cardstock, with photographs and written captions. Each page is attached to the next with adhesive tape. There is a black wavy line accross each page that is continued on the next page. Rex May was born in Texas, studied theater desing and came to San Francisco in the early 1950, with his "friend" Charles Little. Together they started a silkscreen company and later opened the Christmas Store, in Sacramento Street, San Francisco. Rex was diagnosed with HIV and died of AIDS in mid 1989 in San Francisco. He created this book for as an assignment from the H.I.V. support group he was attending.
