Micaëla Gallery, San Francisco, "Larry Keenan," September 6 - 30, 2006.

This is a black and white photograph of Michael McClure and Bruce Conner playing instruments while standing on a staircase in front of a building entrance. Conner stands at center wearing a dark suit playing a harmonica. McClure appears to the left wearing dark pants, a floral print shirt, and a scarf. He is slightly bent over and appears to be in the motion of hitting a tambourine on his right leg.

Micaëla Gallery printout: "McCLURE AND CONNER LEAVING HASELWOOD'S / San Francisco 1965 / Michael McClure and Bruce Conner are playing and singing while leaving Dave Haselwood's house. Haselwood printed a lot of the small edition letterpress jobs for the Beats. McClure just bought the tambourine to accompany Conner's blues harmonica playing."
