Inscribed at corner of the base near a pile of bronze string and short sticks: "N. Olivera 83"
Written on donor crate: "N. Oliveira / Site #3"

This is a bronze sculpture of an abstract landscape. The base is rectangular with a textured surface. A large object that has the appearance of a bundle of sticks and abstract shapes bound together is attached to the base at center. The bundle is composed of several bronze "sticks," a narrow piece that curves upward at one end, and a flat fin-shaped piece. The bundle is elevated slightly above the base supported by short bronze "sticks." A short "stick" in the top of the bundle rises upward at an angle and has a patina of alternating red and white bands. One long "stick" juts out from the main bundle at an angle running parallel to the base. Various piles of bronze string, sticks, and two small mounds also appear on the surface of the base. The piece has an overall reddish-brown patina.
