This artifact came from trunk number one, marked "Ford E. Samuel Travelogues," containing a projector, lenses and all the equipment to project a slide show. It also has slides of famous sights from around the world. Artfifacts are labeled 2010.26.1.1 through 2010.26.1.256. See master record for a complete list of individual numbers. (.4) Wood tray covered in olive green cloth with metal fittings along the corner edges and green canvas handles rivited to each short side of the tray. The interior of the tray was modified into two rows that hold 60 glass slides. All the dividers are wood wrapped in green felt. The left row of the tray holds 30 glass slides (2010.26.1.130 through 2010.26.1.159). The right row of the tray holds 30 glass slides (2010.26.1.160 through 2010.26.1.189). This tray was on the bottom of the trunk with the identical tray (.3) stored on top of it.

This trunk and its material was used by Ford E. Samuel, who later bacame Mayor of Alameda.
