Banner made of three pieces of fabric, creating stripes of orange-blue-orange. This banner was flown vertically above water barrels (like 2010.33.3A-B) to signal to immigrants from a distance that there was water there. The blue stripe, according to Water Station, is meant to represent the color of water. Water Station is an organization that places these barrels in the desert near the California/Mexico border, placing water bottles inside for border-crossing immigrants to drink and thus avoid dehydration.
