United States of America, One Cent, 1853
A and B: Two (2) 1853 one cent coins of copper. Each features a Liberty head on one side, with 13 stars, representing the 13 original colonies. The date, 1853, is at the base of the Liberty head. The other side has a bas relief of a wreath made of olive branches, centered by "One Cent," with "United States of America" surrounding the wreath. The edges of the coin are smooth (and were minted that way.)
