The body of the detector is covered in green plastic and contains a label giving manufacturaing information, calling the item a "Detector Set," with a frequency of 134.500 MHz. The bottom of the body has a dial labeled "SENS MOD A," and the dial points to the word "OFF" and the numbers 1-5. Wrapped around the body is a copper wire that is attached to the side of the body. Coming off the body is a cord, which appears to have been patched in a few places; at the end of the cord is a large sort of pin, presumably placed in the ground to detect motion. Used by the Campo Minutemen. Deborah Sattler, a member of the Campo Minutemen, wrote the following to accompany this artifact: "Vietnam-era motion sensor, used on the border to track illegal crossers."
