Below this text is more black text that reads: "Onondaga Nation (NY) to Loas Angeles - May 28 to July 19, 1984 / Individuals and native running teams have committed themselves to help carry the / medicine through 14 states. / The first leg of the Run will be through Houdenasounee territoey to Chicago then to the / Wisconsin border. here Oneidas and Winnebagos will carry it through to Minnesota. There / Anishinabe will carry the Run to South Dakota and Lakota will then run to the / Wyoming border met by Arapaho and Northern Cheyenne, who will carry the Run to / Colorado, met by Utes and other native runners. At Duchesne, Utah runners will be joined / by Ouray Nation people to Ely, Nevada where they will be met by Western Shoshone. Then / across Nevada to the California border to be greeted by eight California Indian teams. The / Run will finish in Los Angeles at the Jim thrope Memorial Games and Pow Wow, Jult 19-22.".
